+++ Responsibility for Maintenance Technician position +++
\n\u2022\tRepair or replace defective parts in addition to adding new parts and\/or equipment
\n\u2022\tDiagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, check blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary
\n\u2022\tObserve machine operations to detect any problems; make necessary adjustments to correct problems
\n\u2022\tOther responsibilities are assigned as needed<\/p>\n
+++ Requirements for Maintenance Technician position +++
\n\u2022\tHighschool Diploma or equivalent
\n\u2022\tAt least 2 years of maintenance experience
\no\tExperience in Welding is a plus
\no\tKnowledge in 110v, 240v, and 480v systems are helpful
\n\u2022\tExperience in a food manufacturer is a big plus!
\nWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral visionThis position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.
