Responsibilities for Experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician – Automotive Parts:<\/p>\n
Troubleshooting and maintenance of Industrial lighting (Metal halide & fluorescent)
\nTroubleshooting and maintenance of Cooling Water Chiller system
\nProvide maintenance support to facility equipment and provide secondary support to maintain production lines
\nParticipate in equipment modifications, in-house fabrication and capital projects
\nProvide preventive and predictive maintenance support
\nFunction as First Responder per WVSM
\nOperate fork truck and man lift per procedures and guidelines
\nPerform all work in accordance with quality, environmental and regulatory procedures and guidelines
\nStart up, shut down and maintenance of auxiliary systems and utilities
\nUnderstand\/comply with QMS policy\/procedures
\nUnderstand\/comply with EMS policy\/procedures
\nAdhere to safety policy\/procedures
\nOther job duties are
\nRequirements for Experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician – Automotive Parts:<\/p>\n
High school diploma
\n3 years of Facilities Maintenance experience in the manufacturing setting
\nBasic understanding of Commercial HVAC
\nCapabilities of fabrication using machine shop equipment (Cutting, welding, etc.)
\nKnowledge and ability of plumbing principles using various materials (Copper, Black Iron, PVC, etc.)
\nBasic electrical knowledge up to 110V (Outlets, Receptacles, etc.)
\nGood communication skills (Speak, Read and Write)
\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
\nWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision<\/p>\n
This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
