Responsibilities of Metal Fabricator – MUST HAVE Experience in a Manufacturer:<\/strong> Qualifications of Metal Fabricator – MUST HAVE Experience in a Manufacturer:<\/strong> This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. \n-Set up fabrication equipment and perform fabricating duties
\n-Interpret blueprints and review project plans
\n-Ensure parts are fitted and aligned properly in machines
\n-Inspect products after finishing fabrication tasks
\n-Other duties as assigned<\/p>\n
\n-High School Diploma or GED required
\n-Prior experience setting up fabrication equipment and fabricating in a shop setting
\n-Experience developing jigs and fixtures
\n-Ability to read fabrication drawings
\n-Strong communication skills
\n-Ability to focus on tasks for long periods of time
