Responsibilities of Interpreter \/ Translator (Japanese \/ English) :<\/p>\n
Facilitate effective communication between Japanese and English languages
\nTranslate Japanese or English languages for Executives or Japanese Expats in meeting or production floor
\nTranslate documents or reports and edit and proofread to accurately reflect language
\nAccompany visitors from Japan and facilitate communication between company and visitors
\nAssist in general administrative tasks such as; answering phone calls and directing them, documentation filing, meeting room arrangements, and etc.
\nOther duties assigned.<\/p>\n
Requirements for Interpreter \/Translator (Japanese \/ English):
\nMust be bilingual in Japanese and English
\n2-3 years of experience as Translator \/ Interpreter is a plus
\nMust have at least Associate degree
\nMust be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\nMust be flexible and able to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
\nThis position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
