A Manufacturing Company located in the Gadsden, AL area is searching for a Tool & Die Technician who has experience with stamping dies.<\/p>\n

\n-Perform routine maintenance on progressive, transfer, and\/or tandem dies
\n-Clean, Deburr, Sharpen, and Polish Dies
\n-Monitor tooling downtime and take corrective action
\n-Utilize the overhead crane and gantry crane to transport dies to\/from presses and storage.
\n-Track all preventative maintenance work on logs and keep all logs accurate and up to date.
\n-Work well with others and in a team environment.<\/p>\n
\n-Minimum diploma required is High School Diploma or equivalent
\n-Experience troubleshooting\/repairing heavy metal stamping dies. (Progressive, Transfer, and Tandem)
\n-CNC experience helpful
\n-Welding Experience (MIG, TIG, Stick)
\n-Good mechanical abilities, including experience with hand tools.
\n-Excellent written and verbal skills.
\n-Must be able to keep accurate die maintenance records.

\nThis position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.<\/p>\n
