Responsibilities of Japanese \/ English Bilingual Manufacturing Engineer:<\/p>\n
Plan and develop manufacturing processes for automotive parts development
\nMonitor all process flow across production
\nDetermine scrap and downtime numbers, and modify processes to reduce those issues
\nDevelopment requirements for quality documentation purposes
\nAssist with hands-on prototype development
\nOther job duties are assigned as required
\nQualifications of Japanese \/ English Bilingual Manufacturing Engineer :<\/p>\n
Associate’s or Technical Degree in Engineering related discipline: Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical
\nAutomotive Parts experience is preferred but not required
\nFluent in Japanese and English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
\nKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint<\/p>\n
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n
This position is sometimes required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.<\/p>\n
