{"id":32877,"date":"2019-10-11T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-10-11T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/activ8.heteml.net\/job\/quality-engineer-iatf\/"},"modified":"2019-10-11T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-10-11T07:00:00","slug":"quality-engineer-iatf","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/activ8.ckmsol.com\/?job=quality-engineer-iatf","title":{"rendered":"Quality Engineer (IATF)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An international manufacturer in northwestern Ohio is seeking a Quality Engineer who is experienced with IATF audits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quality Engineer Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>Full Medical and Dental insurance<\/li>\n<li>Life Insurance and Disability<\/li>\n<li>401k w\/ matching<\/li>\n<li>Paid Time Off (increases with number of years worked)<\/li>\n<p><strong>Quality Engineer Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>Conduct quality audits based on IATF 16949 standard<\/li>\n<li>Identify root-cause of quality problems and implement corrective actions<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that quality requirements are met by reviewing manufacturing, testing, and supplier documentation<\/li>\n<li>Provide inspection analysis and visual aids to inform quality inspection decisions<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to Customer Service, Engineering, and Purchasing departments<\/li>\n<li>Develop and oversee defect-reduction programs, and review quality data system for the latest trends<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and report cost of quality corrections<\/li>\n<li>PPAP, PFMEA, and control plan submittal<\/li>\n<p><strong>Quality Engineer Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Engineering; or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>MUST have experience with IATF 16949<\/li>\n<li>Prefer experience with quality assurance or quality control in a manufacturing setting<\/li>\n<li>Prefer familiarity with PPAP and APQP documents<\/li>\n<p>If you feel you can make positive contributions to our company, and think this is the position for you, please don\u2019t hesitate to send us your resume right away!<\/p>\n<p>This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
