A International Manufacturing Company located in the Gadsden, AL area is searching for an experienced Electrical Controls Technician with PLC \/ Robotics experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responsibilities of Electrical Controls Technician – PLC \/ Robotics:<\/strong>
\n-Provide technical support to breakdowns to automation controls systems in a manufacturing setting
\n-Program and troubleshoot all issues with PLCs and robotic systems
\n-Interpret electrical schematics for controls troubleshooting purposes
\n-Other job duties are assigned as required<\/p>\n

Qualifications for Electrical Controls Technician – PLC \/ Robotics:<\/strong>
\n-Associate’s Degree or 3 years of experience with programming and troubleshooting PLCs and robotic systems
\n-Familiarity with HMI
\n-Be able to work 2nd shift
\n-Work efficiently within a team environment as well as individually
\n-Good Communication Skills (Speaking\/ Writing\/ Reading)

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision<\/p>\n

This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.<\/p>\n
