\n-Minimum of Bachelor\u2019s degree required (prefer Mechanical, but any technical degree is acceptable)
\n-Must have held \u201cEngineering Manager\u201d title
\n-Some project management experience is HIGHLY desirable
\n-Experience as department head (permanent or interim) is needed
\n-Must have excellent communication skills
\n-Must be able to work responsibly and effectively
\n-Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment<\/p>\n
\n-Communicate with internal management, production leads, and marketing\/sales team members to discuss project\/product specifications and procedures
\n-Coordinate\/direct projects, convey clear goals and provide direction for completing tasks
\n-Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment
\n-Direct, review, and approve product design and changes
\n-HR duties include assisting with hiring process, training, scheduling, evaluating work skill level and making recommendations for promotion and\/or termination
\n-Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts, and direct the negotiation of research contracts
\n-Work with sourcing department to convey inventory needs for present\/future production
\n-Perform other duties as assigned<\/p>\n
