{"id":32867,"date":"2019-02-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-02-07T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/activ8.heteml.net\/job\/design-engineer-needed-in-dayton\/"},"modified":"2019-02-07T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-02-07T08:00:00","slug":"design-engineer-needed-in-dayton","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/activ8.ckmsol.com\/?job=design-engineer-needed-in-dayton","title":{"rendered":"Design Engineer Needed in Dayton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An international automotive parts supplier just west of Dayton, OH is seeking a Design Engineer to join their team.  <\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities for Design Engineer:<br \/>\n\u2022\tUtilizes computer-aided design equipment and\/or graphic tools such as CATIA<br \/>\n\u2022\tInterface with project manager concerning design specifications and other facets of product development<br \/>\n\u2022\tInterface with customers regarding design development<br \/>\n\u2022\tCompletes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices<br \/>\n\u2022\tGuest Engineer control and support<br \/>\n\u2022\tDesign review schedule and report<br \/>\n\u2022\tAPQP Support<\/p>\n<p>Requirements for Design Engineer:<br \/>\n\u2022\tPrior experience in OEM interfacing<br \/>\n\u2022\tPrior experience with 3D CAD Design<br \/>\n\u2022\tHas B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or graduate from a 2-year technical school, Computer Aided Drafting Design certification<br \/>\n\u2022\tSkilled at using CATIA preferred<br \/>\n\u2022\tDrafted mechanical content whether from a job or classroom environment (Part Design or<br \/>\nAssembly Design is preferred)<br \/>\n\u2022\tAbility to use MS products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc&#8230;)<br \/>\n\u2022\tStrong reading and comprehension skills<br \/>\n\u2022\tExtremely high attention-to-detail; candidate must work well in a team environment<br \/>\n\u2022\tMust be able to pass a background check<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tWhile performing the duties of this job, you may be required to type for extended periods throughout the day and intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
