Position: Technical Sales Representative
\nSalary: Up to $85k base plus bonus
\nLocation: Minneapolis\/St. Paul
\nAn international automation component manufacturing company in the southern Minneapolis area is searching for candidates for a Technical Sales Representative position that they have an immediate opening for. <\/p>\n
Responsibilities Include:
\n\u2022\tGather and provide market demand info and feedback to manufacturers\/suppliers throughout the Northern Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota areas
\n\u2022\tDemonstrate key products\/applications to customers
\n\u2022\tCoordinate\/arrange joint-visit to customers and product\/application training with sales members\/suppliers\/manufacturers
\n\u2022\tDevelop\/Execute sales strategy that the management strategically plans for target manufactures\/suppliers reflected to their sales targets for all branches
\n\u2022\tOversee\/manage sales numbers for assigned supplier\/manufacturer to plan strategically collective actions
\n\u2022\tProvide internal members with technical support for distributed products and applications of manufacturers
\n\u2022\tPerform application concept work including researching data, conducting feasibility and determining design criteria in accordance with required standards and codes by a customer.
\n\u2022\tOther Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management. <\/p>\n
Requirements
\n\u2022\tExperience in industrial automation, especially food, medical, and packaging industry preferred
\n\u2022\tAbility to travel regularly throughout the week and able to drive frequently
\n\u2022\tStrong written and verbal skills in English.
\n\u2022\tExcellent time management skills.
\n\u2022\tAn energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and professionalism
\n\u2022\tMust be able to perform regular physical tasks such as walking, standing, carrying, crouching and sitting on a consistent basis<\/p>\n

\nThis position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n
