Responsibilities of Controls Engineer:<\/strong> Qualifications of Controls Engineer:<\/strong> While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n This position is sometimes required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. \n-Program and troubleshoot PLCs, robotic systems, and HMIs to ensure automated production runs smoothly
\n-Assist with the development and implementation of new or improved manufacturing processes used in mass production
\n-Monitor all process flow across production
\n-Report on daily downtime numbers, and develop process improvements to reduce the downtime
\n-Other duties as assigned<\/p>\n
\n-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related discipline: Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical
\n-3 years’ experience preferred
\n-Prior experience with PLC\/HMI programming
\n-Automotive Parts experience is preferred but not required
\n-Knowledge of Microsoft Office
