An International Law Firm is looking for a Japanese \/ English Bilingual Legal Assistant in the DC area.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities of Japanese \/ English Bilingual Legal Assistant:<\/p>\n
Assist paralegals with reviewing, preparing and filing legal documents
\nScheduling appointments for timekeepers and clients, organizing, updating and maintaining filing systems of professional, administrative, and prosecution case files
\nAssisting in the preparation of memorandum, correspondence and pleadings, and aiding in the prioritization of workload to ensure deadlines are met
\nCorresponding to clients via e-mail \/ phones
\nOther duties would be assigned
\nRequirements of Japanese \/ English Bilingual Legal Assistant:<\/p>\n
High School Diploma, or related field experience in corporation
\nBusiness level proficiency in both English and Japanese (Speaking, Writing, Reading)
\nJapanese Language Proficiency Test – N1 Level or above preferred
\nProficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite ( Word, Excel and PowerPoint )
\nStrong communication skills
\nPatent related experience preferred
