An International CNC Machine Tools Manufacturing \/ Sales Company is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer in the Greater Northern Kentucky area.<\/p>\n
Position: Field Service Technician \/ Engineer<\/strong> RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong> REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong>
\nWork Place: Greater Northern Kentucky<\/strong>
\nSalary: Around $60K -Depends on your experience<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n\u2022\tWrite maintenance procedures for use in the field.
\n\u2022\tRepair and Maintain CNC machines.
\n\u2022\tInstall new machines in customer\u2019s facility, including electrical and\/or mechanical check-outs, set up, and basic machine operation.
\n\u2022\tPrepare and submit installation reports accurately and promptly.
\n\u2022\tPerform basic electrical\/electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic problem diagnosis and repair in customer’s plants during warranty period.
\n\u2022\tCross-train on mechanical, electrical & electronic maintenance.
\n\u2022\tPerform most maintenance work and provide basic assistance needed by customer following warranty period.
\n\u2022\tAdvise and assist in selection and ordering of repair parts.
\n\u2022\tPrepare and submit service time and expense reports accurately and promptly.
\n\u2022\tAssist other Field Service Engineers with various assignments to receive necessary on-the-job training.
\n\u2022\tAttend schools, seminars and work directly with associates to gain skills.
\n\u2022\tPrepare lesson plans and some written material for classroom situations.
\n\u2022\tOther job duties are assigned as required.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\tAssociate Degree or Higher (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
\n\u2022\tKnowledgeable of G&M codes, PLC, and Mechanically minded
\n\u2022\t1 to 5 years of machine tools maintenance or related experience and\/or training;
\n\u2022\tStrong Communication skills \u2013 Speaking and Writing
\n\u2022\tProficient in MS Office, especially \u2013 MS Excel & Word
\n\u2022\tUnderstanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and laser systems;
\n\u2022\tKnowledge of CNC equipment.
\n\u2022\t50% Travel Required \u2013 Nationwide \/ International, Day Trip \/ Overnight.
