Responsibilities of SAP ABAP Developer:
\n\u2022\tUnderstand and debug code.
\n\u2022\tParticipate in planning and executing implementations.
\n\u2022\tProvide ongoing development support post project implementation and act as the long-term support partner for delivered SAP solutions.
\n\u2022\tResolve most issues independently. Escalate more complex issues to the leads in the team.
\n\u2022\tFollow continual improvement best practices by identifying and diagnosing improvement opportunities.
\n\u2022\tAdheres to change and incident management standards and expectations.
\n\u2022\tStay current with capabilities of platform and other components.
\n\u2022\tExecute testing lifecycle from Unit Test through UAT and Regression to ensure effective delivery of high-quality solutions in the program landscape.
\n\u2022\tWrite test cases and report results.
\n\u2022\tParticipate in creating prototypes or proofs of concepts for package enhancements.
\n\u2022\tOperate as an internal consultant within the IT department.
\n\u2022\tResponsible for quickly resolving and documenting day to day issues as they arise.<\/p>\n
Qualifications for SAP ABAP Developer:
\n\u2022\tBA\/BS or equivalent experience (STEM: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics preferred)
\n\u2022\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in ABAP development
\n\u2022\tExperience with Enhancement and Support Packs (familiarity with SPAU, SPDD, OSS Notes)
\n\u2022\tStrong cross function knowledge in one or more of the following areas: SD, MM, FI\/CO, WM
\n\u2022\tMust have good Interdependence skills (Oral and Written Communication, Peer Relationships, Listening)
\n\u2022\tExperience in unit testing, developing\/testing application interfaces and integration testing
\n\u2022\tExcellent organization, planning and administration
\n\u2022\tMust have strong technical analytic and problem-solving skills
\n\u2022\tAbility to travel up to 30%<\/p>\n
