An international automotive manufacturer in the Northern Mississippi region is looking for an Assembly Group Leader responsible supervising assembly associates. <\/p>\n

Responsibilities and Duties<\/p>\n
\u2022\tSupervising team leaders and associates in the assembly department
\n\u2022\tScheduling and planning work assignments as well as creating progress reports
\n\u2022\tKeep detailed records and ensure team leaders and associates adhere to policies
\n\u2022\tAuthorizing overtime as required to ensure production goals are met
\n\u2022\tOversee safe operation of assembly line equipment \t<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
\u2022\tHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or similar preferred
\n\u2022\tSuperior communication and relationship building skills
\n\u2022\tMinimum 1-2 years of supervisor experience
\n\u2022\tWillingness and eagerness to learn
\n\u2022\tStrong mechanical aptitude <\/p>\n
This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n
