An international automotive manufacturer in the Northwest Indianapolis area is looking for a Welding Assistant Manager responsible overseeing robot welding operation at an automotive manufacturing plant.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities and Duties<\/p>\n
\u2022\tOversee operation of welding robots in an automotive manufacturing environment.
\n\u2022\tMonitor the schedules of production to ensure that products are finished by set deadline.
\n\u2022\tWork together with safety and quality departments to prevent any injuries and\/or production malfunctions.
\n\u2022\tAssist in solving any work related problems as needed and work with human resources to implement effective solutions. <\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s degree and 5 years of automotive manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
\n\u2022\tTechnical skills in manufacturing and mechanical applications
\n\u2022\tProficiency with mathematics and computer and software skills
\n\u2022\tAbility to lead a fast paced team and strong judgement skills to solve problems that may arise and prevent them when possible. <\/p>\n
This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n
