An international automotive manufacturer in the Northwest Indianapolis region is looking for a Purchasing Manager responsible for overseeing the purchasing department and strengthening relationships with clients.

\nResponsibilities and Duties
\n\u2022\tManage the Purchasing team analyze performance of all agents
\n\u2022\tNegotiate pricing with customers and vendors
\n\u2022\tPrepare presentations for vendors as well as customers
\n\u2022\tCreate records of revenue, sales, and invoices and write forecasts based on expected performance
\n\u2022\tCreate and build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
\nQualifications and Skills
\n\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s in Business or related field or comparable experience in a purchasing role
\n\u2022\tAt least 2 years, preferably 4-5 years, of management experience
\n\u2022\tExperience working in Automotive manufacturing company preferred
\n\u2022\tKnowledge of pricing and purchasing as it pertains to automotive manufacturing
\n\u2022\tStrong leadership and interpersonal skills is a must
\nThis position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n
