{"id":32718,"date":"2019-10-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-10-12T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/activ8.heteml.net\/job\/production-scheduler\/"},"modified":"2019-10-12T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-10-12T07:00:00","slug":"production-scheduler","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/activ8.ckmsol.com\/?job=production-scheduler","title":{"rendered":"Production Scheduler"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An international manufacturer in LaSalle County, IL is seeking a Production Scheduler who is passionate about maintaining efficient production standards.<\/p>\n<p><em>Responsibilities<\/em><\/p>\n<li>Work and communicates with various departments to develop weekly production schedules<\/li>\n<li>Update schedule as demands change and ensure that production is prioritized to meet external and internal customer demands<\/li>\n<li>Monitor planned versus actual output from the Master Production Plan to determine how well the plan is meeting predetermined goals.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and report plant performance vs. planned schedules using information derived from MRP\/ERP and other production control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate lead time and potential production issues to customer service and configuration departments as well as internal customers in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Provide continuous improvement of the planning and reporting processes<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<p><em>Requirements<\/em><\/p>\n<li>Prefer Associate&#8217;s Degree in a technical discipline; or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>MUST have at least 2 years of experience scheduling\/planning manufacturing production lines<\/li>\n<li>MRP\/ERP working knowledge and experience<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, as well as Kaizen and Kanban<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think critically, apply logical and common sense to solve complex operational and production scheduling problems<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the automotive industry a plus<\/li>\n<p><em>If you feel you can make positive contributions to our company, and think this is the position for you, please don\u2019t hesitate to send us your resume right away!<\/p>\n<p>This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
