Responsibilities:
\nPrepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi, cook and serve other food at the sushi bar as needed.
\nPrepare other Japanese food, such as Tempura.
\nSelect ingredients, store food, and maintain supplies.
\nCommunicates with customers to take orders and serve food as needed at the sushi bar.
\nPrepare sauces, create menus, train staff, and design sushi plates.
\nOther job duties are assigned as required.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\nExperience in preparing sushi and other Japanese food such as Tempura at a Japanese\/sushi restaurant is required.
\nGood interpersonal communication skill is required as you might be required to communicate with customers.
\nAbility to organize the kitchen and work both fast and accurately.
\nMust be able to keep standing up while on shifts except during breaks\u3002
\nAvailability to work during business hours, including weekends and evenings.
