A leading global automotive manufacturer in the Richmond, IN area is searching for an Injection Mold Technician<\/strong>. Sound like the job for you? Then do read on\u2026 This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
\nResponsibilities Include:
\n\u2022\tAssures the products meet all test and quality requirements at start up
\n\u2022\tStarts up blow molding machines
\n\u2022\tClean cavity of molds when necessary
\n\u2022\tResponsible for the quality of bottles running on production lines
\n\u2022\tKeeps entire area in a neat and orderly fashion
\n\u2022\tClean cavity of molds when necessary
\nRequirements:
\n\u2022\tHigh school degree
\n\u2022\tAbility to understand and establish production standards by being able to adjust conditions to obtain optimum cycle without sacrificing quality
\n\u2022\tInjection Mold Machine experience
\n\u2022\tSet up and operate various equipment
\n\u2022\tPerform mechanical troubleshooting, assists maintenance staff with repairs, machine lubrication and mold clean up<\/p>\n
