An international automotive manufacturer in the Northwest Indianapolis area is looking for a Stamping Assistant Manager responsible overseeing stamping press operation at an automotive manufacturing plant.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities and Duties
\n\u2022Oversee operation of stamping presses in an automotive manufacturing environment.
\n\u2022Monitor the schedules of production to ensure that products are finished by set deadline.
\n\u2022Work together with safety and quality departments to prevent any injuries and\/or production malfunctions.
\n\u2022Assist in solving any work related problems as needed and work with human resources to implement effective solutions. <\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills
\n\u2022Bachelor\u2019s degree and 5 years of automotive manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
\n\u2022Technical skills in manufacturing and mechanical applications
\n\u2022Proficiency with mathematics and computer and software skills
\n\u2022Ability to lead a fast paced team and strong judgement skills to solve problems that may arise and prevent them when possible. <\/p>\n
This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n
