\nRequirements of Sales Consultant (Home Based Office): <\/strong><\/p>\n
\nIdentifies and promote new technology opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reductions.
\nSources parts at approved and acceptable suppliers. Assure overall responsibility for supplier performance including quality, delivery, price, and technical support.
\nNegotiates pricing.
\nMonitors part delivery to support production while minimizing inventory.
\nMonitors quality and delivery performance of each supplier.
\nAssists QA department to ensure defects receive appropriate supplier root cause analysis and corrective action.
\nVisits suppliers on a regular basis at intervals commensurate with criticality to business performance for activities such as Supplier Quality Reviews, Supplier Process Verification Audits, Corrective Action Audits, etc.
\nDevelops supplier that is consistent with the Hydro-Gear Mission and Vision Statements.
\nMaintains overall responsibility for the supplier relationship.
\nResolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
\nMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
\nPerforms special projects as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.
\nMust be available to travel 80%<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\nAbility to read and interpret drawings for electronic manufacturing, electronic component data specification sheets
\nExperience in buying electronic components in robotic field, circuit boards, assemblies, subassemblies, switches, transformers, connectors, custom parts, electro-mechanical assemblies, etc.
