An international robotics manufacturing company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer I – Robotics & Automation Systems in Richmond, KY (Full-Time, Direct, $90,000.00\/year)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responsibilities of Mechanical Design Engineer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Design new custom machines to support Operations.
\nDevelop new equipment specification for design in-house and outsourcing.
\nProvide detailed equipment specification and obtain quotes from qualified suppliers.
\nLead operator training on new or updated automation equipment.
\nWork with the Machine Technician group to ensure proper setup and operation documentation is in place.
\nPartner with the technical training coordinator to ensure associates have all necessary skills for proper equipment operation.
\nWork with the maintenance group to ensure proper preventative and autonomous maintenance procedures are developed and followed.
\nOther duties may be assigned.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Requirements of Mechanical Design Engineer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field
\n3+ years\u2019 experience in mechanical design
\nIn-depth knowledge of SolidWorks 3D, ProE, CAD software
\nExtensive knowledge of metal fabrication processes
\nUnderstanding of current cutting tool technology
\nImpeccable attention to detail
\nAbility to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
