An international plastic parts manufacturing company is looking for an Injection Molding Process Technician in Murfreesboro, Tennessee (Full-Time (Daytime), Direct HIre, DOE; $13.00\/hr – $20.00\/hr)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responsibilities of Injection Molding Process Technician:<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Monitor scrap and rework parts produced on each mold carrier every hour. (Keeping scrap and rework to an absolute minimum)
\nCheck process setup sheets daily and record all changes made.
\nMaintain all mold carriers running at or above the standard rate. (By use of molding defect analysis sheets and press rate information)
\nMaintain a high level of housekeeping and 5S.
\nResponsible for the accurate completion of Process Verification, Tool Reports and Error proofing Check sheets as required.
\nTroubleshoot and correct molding process problems as soon as possible.
\nAssist supervisor\/team leader with ongoing training of all associates assigned to the department.
\nInitiate and follow up on mold and machine repairs with the maintenance and tooling department.
\nPerforms level 1 Preventative maintenance on the encapsulation metering equipment and mold carrier.
\nMonitor and maintain chemical and mold release levels by filling system. (5 gallon drum, 55 gallon drum, tote, bulk storage)
\nNotify supervisor\/ team leader of specific processing problems which affect scrap, rework or labor variance.
\nNotify supervisor\/team leader of pending shut down situations and aid in the reassignment of operators as required.
\nResponsible for insuring a safe environmentally sound work place for every associate. This will include but is not limited to proactive positions in safety and environmental programs, accident investigations, safety audits, quality audits, continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions) and training.
\nAssist in Pre-production and startup tooling trials, chemical trials and mold release trials.
\nParticipate in and support Plant programs.
\nPerforms other special duties and projects as assigned<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Requirements of Injection Molding Process Technician:<\/strong><\/p>\n

High School Diploma
\nPrior experience in Plastic Injection Molding, including mold changes, hydraulics and electrical
\nEducation to support Mold Set-Ups, Trouble Shooting
\nComputer skills including machine control
\nSkills to perform process parameters of all presses operating during scheduled shift
\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
