An international manufacturing company is looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant – Japanese \/ English Bilingual in Lebanon, TN area. (Direct Hire, DOE:$50,000.00\/year)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responsibilities of Executive Administrative Assistant – Japanese \/ English Bilingual:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting one spoken or written language to another.
\nAttend conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion.
\nTranslate foreign languages for clients in prison so they can understand prison officials.
\nRelay concepts and ideas between languages.
\nTranslate spoken communication to sign language for hearing impaired audience.
\nConvert written materials from one language into another, such as books, publications, or web pages.
\nCreate a new text in the target language that reproduces the content and style of the original.
\nEdit and proofread text to accurately reflect language.
\nReceive and submit assignments electronically.
\nUse dictionaries and glossaries for reference.
\nEmploy computer-assisted translation.
\nFacilitate communication for people with limited English proficiency.
\nTranslate languages at meetings such as attorney-client meetings, preliminary hearings, arraignments, depositions, and trials.
\nInterpret both legal terminology and colloquial language.
\nRead aloud documents in a language other than that in which they were written.
\nProvide language services to healthcare patients with limited English proficiency.
\nTranslate patient materials and informational brochures issued by hospitals and medical facilities into another language.
\nAccompany foreign visitor and facilitate communication between receiving party and visitors.
\nAdapt a product or service for use in a different language and culture.

\n

Requirements of Executive Administrative Assistant – Japanese \/ English Bilingual:<\/strong><\/p>\n

High School Diploma, or related field experience in corporation
\nBusiness level proficiency in both English and Japanese (Speaking, Writing, Reading)
\nJapanese Language Proficiency Test – N1 Level or above preferred
\nPreferred to be able to read and write Japanese kanji at a fluent level. (Note: our scale for kanji fluency is based on being able to read 75% or more of a standard Japanese newspaper.)
\nProficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite ( Word, Excel and PowerPoint )
\nCommunication skills
\nManufacturing \/ Technical translating experience or other related filed experience preferred<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
