An international automotive metal parts manufacturing in Douglasville, GA is looking for a Quality Control Specialist (Full-Time, Direct, DOE: $70,000.00\/year).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responsibilities of Quality Control Specialist: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Acts as the Management Representative and champions ISO 9001, TS 16949, and IATF 16949 certification audits, training, and maintenance
\nManages the Material Review Board, internal\/external audits, CAPA, document control, and record review.
\nOversees and manages a staff of QualityTechnicians, Specialists, Document Control, and Manufacturing QualityEngineers.
\nImproves qualityassurance systems plant-wide to achieve zero defects through hands-on training, strong work ethic, and leadership by example.
\nIdentifies and resolves systemic qualityproblems at both plant level through a reduction in variation in processes and components
\nMaintains and enhances plant level qualityperformance metrics.
\nParticipates in QualityForum meetings with other plant managers and qualitymanagers.
\nImproves profitability through reduced internal scrap and customer returns
\nSuccessfully interfaces with key customers and prospects to improve qualityand win new business.
\nEffectively works with Engineering Managers and Advanced QualityEngineers to ensure PQ runs are successful and uses early production containment to provide feedback to the Engineering team(s).
\nPerform other related duties as assigned<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Requirements of Quality Control Specialist: <\/strong><\/p>\n

4 year degree or minimum 4+ years of experience in the Qualityfield in the automotive parts manufacturing companies
\nSix Sigma Training
\nISO 9001, TS 16949, and IATF 16949 experience
\nProject experience is preferred in launching plant facility
\nPlastic injection molding experience desirable, preferably in a multi-plant environment
\nQualityAuditor, QualityManager and\/or Six Sigma green\/black belt certification is desirable
\nExcellent negotiation, presentation, meeting facilitation, and organizational skills
\nStrong customer relationship building skills
\nStrong \u201chands-on\u201d analytical problem solving abilities
\nExcellent written and oral communication skills<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
