Activ8 has a solid track record in placing candidates in long-term, direct-hire positions as well as temporary positions that fit the needs of both the client and YOU &#8211; the job seeker.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An international automotive parts manufacturing company is looking for a Human Resource Specialist (Full-Time, Direct, DOE;$55,000.00\/year)<\/strong><strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities of Human Resource Specialist:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating<br \/>\nExplaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees<br \/>\nEnsuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed<br \/>\nInforming job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.<br \/>\nAddressing any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations<br \/>\nProcessing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval<br \/>\nOverseeing hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks<br \/>\nInterpreting union contracts<br \/>\nHelping to negotiate collective bargaining agreements<br \/>\nResolving grievances<br \/>\nAdvising supervisors on union contract interpretation<br \/>\nOther duties may be assigned<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/strong>Requirements of Human Resource Specialist:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or Public Administration, English, Communications, or a related field.<br \/>\nProficiency with MS Office Suite with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.<br \/>\nMinimum 1-3 years of experience in a core human resources function with a focus in compensation or benefits preferred.<br \/>\nExperience providing compliance\/policy\/procedure support in a corporate setting preferred<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We screen ALL Candidates to verify the validity of each applicant with criminal background \/ Social Security verification.<\/p>\n<p>Upon submitting your resume, we will contact only those candidates that we deem qualified for our client.
