Minimum Requirements for Design Engineer \u2013 CATIA V5 exp:
\n\u2022 Must have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field
\n\u2022 Must have a minimum of 5 years CATIA V5 design experience
\n\u2022 Experience designing injection molded parts
\n\u2022 Must have at least 2 years in design and drafting experience
\n\u2022 Ability to communicate effectively \u2013 up \/ down and across the organization
\n\u2022 Report writing \u2013 data analysis to draw conclusions based on facts
\n\u2022 Excellent written and verbal skills to report and present to senior managers<\/p>\n
Summary of Responsibilities for Design Engineer \u2013 CATIA V5 exp:
\n\u2022 Develop scope of work documents for the preliminary design process
\n\u2022 Develop the specifications and drawings for the documents related to the design of complex medium size projects
\n\u2022 Oversee the selection of materials and equipment based on constructability and value for the company standards
\n\u2022 Review any design drawings and evaluate the need for any design changes
\n\u2022 Consults with the client personnel to ensure a smooth project
\n\u2022 Build and establish relationships with current and new customers
\n\u2022 Ensures that specifications are all within the company\u2019s budget
\n\u2022 May oversee and coordinate the work of lower- level engineers<\/p>\n
Salary DOE (55,000 to 75,000)<\/p>\n
