An international automotive supplier in Fort Wayne, IN is looking for a Production Assistant Manager.<\/p>\n
Requirements:
\n– Minimum of high school diploma (prefer Bachelor\u2019s in Engineering or Industrial Manufacturing)
\n– At least 5 years of experience in production, need some management experience (lead\/supervisor\/assistant manager)
\n– Experience with automotive a HUGE plus
\n– Demonstrated ability to coordinate with various departments and report productivity
\n– Must have excellent communication skills
\n– Must be able to work responsibly, effectively, and independently when needed
\n– Teamwork skills are a MUST!
\n– Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:
\n– Coordinate with inventory and various departments to develop production schedules based on needs
\n– Meet with production supervisors to develop worker schedules and determine manpower needs
\n– Report productivity to management and resolve any discrepancies
\n– Report inventory needs to Purchasing department to ensure no lost time
\n– Periodically evaluate need for preventative maintenance and plan with maintenance department
