Responsibilities Of The Automation Engineer
\n\u2022 Develop electrical design, schematics and drawings in AutoCAD
\n\u2022 Interpret mechanical design drawings for electrical requirements \u2022 Develop electrical bill of materials
\n\u2022 Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications
\n\u2022 Work with electrical technician to commission systems
\n\u2022 Review and design plant controls network
\n\u2022 Review, repair, troubleshoot and redesign current and legacy electronics
\n\u2022 Write user manuals to communicate functionality of developed electronics systems <\/p>\n
Qualifications Of The Automation Engineer
\n\u2022 BS degree in engineering (Electrical or Computer Science) or related discipline Highly Preferred
\n\u2022 2+ years of experience in the automation industry, 5+ years preferred
\n\u2022 Proficient in Design\/Drafting Tools AutoCAD and SolidWorks
\n\u2022 Proficient in Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron)
\n\u2022 Configuring and designing HMI systems (e.g. Allen Bradley, EXOR)
\n\u2022 AC & DC Drive configuration (e.g. Control technique, Siemens, Lenze, Omron)
\n\u2022 Servo and VFD experience \u2022 Familiar with various Motion Controllers\/Actuators (e.g. Yasakawa, FANUC, Kuka) \u2022 Familiar with thin client and data acquisition server
\n\u2022 Familiar with industrial networks
\n\u2022 Experience and skill in troubleshooting control system issues.
\n\u2022 Ability to manage large project orders or multiple projects at once.
