RESPONSIBILITIES for Field Service CNC Programmer – Manufacturing :
\n\u2022\tInstall work holding and cutting tools
\n\u2022\tWrite Fanuc G-code CNC cutting programs per customer part requirements. Must be proficient at writing cutting programs on the machine.
\n\u2022\tSetup machine and prove-out cutting programs and tools. Verify part quality and conformance to print requirements.
\n\u2022\tWork with Machine Tools s e.g. Alan Bradley, PLC, CNC etc.
\n\u2022\tReview and analyze customer machine runoffs. This includes meeting all customer requirements for part cutting, quality, automatic operation and cycle-time.
\n\u2022\tProvide customer personnel with machine operation and maintenance training.
\n\u2022\tTravel to customer facilities located in Canada to perform machine runoffs and operator training
\n\u2022\tMaintain project schedules and meet customer deadlines. Must work well under pressure, and tactfully communicate with customers and co-workers.<\/p>\n
Requirements for Field Service CNC Programmer – Manufacturing :
\n\u2022\tAssociates degree from a two-year technical school or equivalent experience
\n\u2022\t5+ years experience on CNC Metal Cutting machines and turning applications.
\n\u2022\tPC literacy and knowledge of tooling and end user applications or equivalent combination of education and experience.
\n\u2022\tWork with a variety of metal cutting machines and precision measuring instruments.
\n\u2022\tUse of company supplied PC\/Laptop to write reports, data spreadsheets and emails.
\n\u2022\tAbility to travel up to 50% to customer sites.
\n\u2022\tValid Driver’s License with clean driving records<\/p>\n
This position includes distribution and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n
