Position: Junior Level Quality Engineer (Oil & Gas Industry)
\nLocation: Pasadena \/ La Porte, TX area
\nPay range: $55,000\/year ~ $60,000\/year
\nMonday – Friday, Full time and a Direct Hire position with Benefits. <\/p>\n

Responsibilities of Junior Level Quality Engineer (Oil & Gas):
\n*\tManage office\/service shop operations, including Safety, Production and Procurement.
\n*\tManage and develop the Quality Management System (QMS)
\n*\tPerform production and quality inspections, improve and implements quality processes.
\n* \tCreate and update SOP documentation and inspection reporting and analysis.
\n*\tSupervise and monitor product quality inspections, calibration of gages and other quality activities.
\n*\tCoordinate audits (internal audits, external audits, supplier audits).
\n*\tCommunicate with inspectors and customers to demonstrate high level of quality awareness.
\n*\tIssue and manage the Corrective Action Report (CAR) and Preventive Action Report (PAR).
\n*\tConduct internal audits to ensure the company is compliant with Enviroment, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures and policies.
\n*\tAnalyze quality data and identify negative trends to take effective improvement actions. <\/p>\n
Requirements of Junior Level Quality Engineer (Oil & Gas):
\n*\tBS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
\n*\tKnowledge of QMS, API, ISO and ASME codes.
\n*\tAbility to work under pressure and meet time lines.
\n*\tProficient with MS Office suite.
\n*\tExcellent oral\/written communication skills
\n*\tExcellent customer relations skills.
\n*\tGood work ethic<\/p>\n
Helpful:
\n*\tKnowledge of Rotating Equipment and Overhauls<\/p>\n
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision<\/p>\n
