A Global Automotive Parts Manufacturing Company is in need of a Japanese English Bilingual Production Control Assistant in teh suburbs of Nashville, TN.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities of Production Control Assistant \u2013 Automotive Manufacturing
\n\u00b7 Assist in the creation of weekly and monthly master production schedules based on forecast to ensure 100% on time delivery
\n\u00b7 Analyze customer information, order methods, and trends
\n\u00b7 Encourage continuous improvement to production control systems which includes accuracy of information, reduce work load, analysis, etc
\n\u00b7 Monitor subcontractor and customer logistics to improve transportation methods
\n\u00b7 Communicate plans to purchasing department for raw materials through a collaborative effort maintaining customer on-time delivery and inventories
\n\u00b7 Communicate with customer service and other support departments in regard to delivery, order status and inventory status
\n\u00b7 Assist purchasing, production, and shipping\/receiving departments
\n\u00b7 Follow and review standards
\n\u00b7 Contribute to a positive environment
\n\u00b7 Promote safety and correct any unsafe work practices
\n\u00b7 Other Job duties assigned as needed <\/p>\n
Requirements: Production Control Assistant \u2013 Automotive Manufacturing
\n\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline
\n\u00b7 Japanese language skills (speak, read and write)
\n\u00b7 2+ years of Inventory, Material Handling, Material Buying, Production Control or similar experience in a mass production environment preferably in the automotive industry
\n\u00b7 Familiarity in Microsoft Word, Excel
\n\u00b7 ERP, SAP, or MRP experience
\n\u00b7 Good Leadership and Supervisory skills
\n\u00b7 Strong communication skills (Speaking \/ Writing \/ Reading)
\n\u00b7 Good time management skills<\/p>\n
Work environment will include manufacturing plants, distributor facilities and offices. Thus, while performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n
