An Automotive Manufacturer is currently looking for an Accounting Specialist to join them near north east of Knoxville, TN. They are a major supplier to automotive OEM companies in the area.

Requirements for Japanese English Bilingual Accounting Specialist :
\n\u2022 Must have a Bachelor’s degree with an Accounting or Finance major
\n\u2022 Must have 3-7 years accounting experience in a manufacturing industry
\n\u2022 Must have Knowledge of basic finance, accounting, and budgeting procedures as well as generally accepted accounting practices (G.A.A.P.) (J-SOX would be a big plus)
\n\u2022 Must have strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
\n\u2022 Must have excellent communication skills (Speak, Read, and Write)
\n\u2022 Must have good analytical skills
\n\u2022 Japanese skills(Speaking\/Reading\/Writing) are big plus
\n\u2022 Ability to handle a large volume of data and maintain accuracy
\n\u2022 Ability to work under limited supervision (fulfill daily goals, produce results, etc.)
\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
\n\u2022 While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.<\/p>\n
Summary of Responsibilities for Japanese English Bilingual Accounting Specialist :
\n\u2022 Oversee all aspects of the accounting area including AR, AP, Credit & Collection and General Ledger
\n\u2022 Prepare monthly financial statements and various detailed analyses
\n\u2022 Collect, compile, analyze and interpret financial data
\n\u2022 Calculate monthly commission
\n\u2022 Issue manual checks
\n\u2022 Maintain lease obligation spreadsheet and Asset & Liability reconciliation file
\n\u2022 Revenue recognition entry for FOB destination customers
\n\u2022 Prepare audit schedules as required
\n\u2022 Provide management with quarterly\/yearly reports specifying and comparing factors affecting pricing and profitability of products or services
\n\u2022 Other job duties are assigned as required<\/p>\n
Compensation: DOE \u2013 (30K-50K)
