A Global Manufacturing Company a major supplier to a well-known OEM, is now seeking a Maintenance Technician near the Chattanooga TN. area.

\nResponsibilities for Maintenance Technician :<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\tOversee safe operation of all molding, stamping, finishing and other primary and secondary equipment
\n\u2022\tEnsure efficient and continuous operations of all manufacturing equipment
\n\u2022\tTrouble shooting, investigate root cause, and repair
\n\u2022\tPerform preventative maintenance
\n\u2022\tPeople developing (assessment of others feedback\/coaching, delegation, motivating others performance management, communicating expectations).
\n\u2022\tMaintain safe working environment and follow all safety protocols
\n
\nQualifications for Maintenance Technician :<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tAssociates degree in Maintenance or related filed required
\n\u2022\tPLC\/CNC background and electronics capabilities
\n\u2022\tKnowledgeable in pneumatics, hydraulics and welding (MIG, TIG and Stick)
\n\u2022\tWorked on Chillers and HVAC
\n\u2022\tExperience using metal finishing equipment and reading blueprints
\n\u2022\tAbility to follow written and verbal instructions to repair and maintain machinery
\n\u2022\tWill be exposed to both hot and cold conditions
\n\u2022\tInterpersonal skills (relationship building, team work, interpersonal insight, conflict resolution, customer orientation).
\n\u2022\tCommunication (verbal communication, listening, written communication on-the-job training).
\n\u2022\tJudgment and thinking (original thinking, judgment and decision making, problem solving).
\n\u2022\tPerformance skills (accuracy with detail, planning and organizing, efficiency).
\n\u2022\tFlexible schedule, may be going to a 6 day a work week.
\n\u2022\tWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision
\n\u2022\tThis position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.<\/p>\n
