An International Automotive Parts Manufacturing Company is seeking for a motivated Production Supervisor near Memphis, TN.
\nThey are a Tier One manufacturer supplying to major automotive companies.

\nRESPONSIBILITIES for Production Supervisor :<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tCreates weekly and monthly production plan based on forecast to ensure 100% on time delivery.
\n\u2022\tReviewing EDI demand management from customer through all tier 2 and 3 sub-suppliers
\n\u2022\tCommunicates plan to purchasing department for raw materials through a collaborative effort maintaining customer on-time delivery and inventories.
\n\u2022\tCreates and distributes schedule to Manufacturing Manager and production members
\n\u2022\tManage ECI program for model changes every two years
\n\u2022\tOversees all aspects of shipping finished goods, service parts, and receiving of raw materials.
\n\u2022\tWorks with the production supervisors, managers and production members on all pertinent scheduling issues related to projects.
\n\u2022\tCommunicate with customer service and other support departments in regard to delivery, order status, inventory status
\n\u2022\tBe proactive with potential problems and follow through with results.
\n\u2022\tResponsible to report production schedules and communicate potential problems other departments
\n\u2022\tCommunicate with all departments professionally and effectively.
\n\u2022\tReacts to change productively and handles other tasks as assigned.
\n\u2022\tFollow and review standards.
\n\u2022\tPromote safety and correct unsafe work practices
\n\u2022\tOther Duties assigned as needed
\nRequirements for Production Supervisor :<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tMust have Bachelor\u2019s or higher degree (or equivalent experience)
\n\u2022\tAt least 3 years of Supervisory experience (automotive industry a Plus)
\n\u2022\tExperience with Third party logistics suppliers
\n\u2022\tExperience with foreign and domestic suppliers
\n\u2022\tMust know and understand J.I.T. and J.I.S.
\n\u2022\tOracle, ERP and MRP skills
\n\u2022\tStrong interpersonal skills
\n\u2022\tExcellent communication skills (Speak\/Read\/Write), team oriented skills
\n\u2022\tProficiency in MS Word\/Excel\/PowerPoint
\n\u2022\tMust be able to travel about 25% of the time (including out of state)<\/p>\n

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts\/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
