A manufacturing company that specializes in the automotive industry located in Southern IL area is seeking a Tooling Engineer.<\/p>\n
Tooling Engineer:<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:
\n-Review product designs for tool construction
\n-Obtain approvals of tool design through entire process
\n-Maintain mold prints and data for mold designs
\n-Review mold spec sheets with lead plants tool engineer and tool vendor
\n-Travel to tooling vendors on site and follow up
\n-Enter and maintain information on Master mold list
\n-Participate in continuous improvement activities<\/p>\n
Requirements:
\n-Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or in a related field,
\nPLUS 2-4 years\u2019 experience in manufacturing environment preferred
\nOR
\n-Associate\u2019s degree in Tool\/Die Technology, Industrial Technology or in related field
\nPLUS 4 years\u2019 experience in manufacturing environment
\n-Plastic injection molding experience required
\nOR
\n-Journeyman Tool\/Die Maker experience PLUS 2-4 years\u2019 experience in manufacturing
\nenvironment
\n-Ability to communicate fluently in both written and verbal English<\/p>\n
