Job duties:<\/b>
\n–\tConsult with primarily Japanese or Asian companies based in Canada, USA or Japan regarding development of websites and web system applications
\n–\tManage SEO settings, Google Analytics, Google Adsense and Google AdWords for news medias based in USA
\n–\tConsult and design an in-house database system for bilingual recruitment agencies based in North America
\n–\tSuggest appropriate advice and create relevant contents for websites and web application, based on strong understanding of Japanese and Asian business culture, consumer behavior and the standard of business operation systems
\n–\tLead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams with staff whose first language may not be English
\n–\tManage project schedules, create quotes and oversee personnel-hours
\n–\tCreate and optimize website contents using variety of databases and software
\n–\tDevelop basic architecture and determine hardware and software requirements for websites and web systems
\n–\tDesign and build websites using various CMS software (WordPress, Movable Type, Wix and Strikingly), templates, and from scratch
\n–\tPlan, design, write, modify, integrate and test Web related code and database with multi-byte
\n–\tEdit and update data using SQL and via database, based on enquiries from clients
\n–\tInvestigate errors and bugs by analyzing server logs
\n–\tContinuously updating software and security measures, and recover from backup files if needed to maintain various servers (both managed and private)
\n–\tMaintain servers with Plesk cPanel
\n–\tContact and coordinate with a server hosting company based in Japan<\/p>\n

Experience:<\/b>
\n–\t3 years to less than 5 years of website development AND Web system development
\n–\tDesigning database with multi-byte data
\n–\tKnowledge of Japanese and Asian business culture, consumer behavior and the standard of business operation systems to design websites and web system applications
\n–\tAt least 3 years of MySQL database management
