Main Responsibilities:
\n\u2013 Coordinate all aspects of international cargo shipments including customs clearance, inland transportation, bookings, preparing documentation, rate quotations, customer service, contacting brokers\/steamship lines, cargo tracking, etc.
\n\u2013 Provide good communication with customers and business partners to maintain positive relationships.
\n\u2013 Address problems with daily operations or shipping delays and propose potential risk and countermeasure to keep the minimal negative impact to customer.
\n\u2013 Close files and making revenue\/cost sheet for each shipment and closing all files for month in a timely manner.
\n\u2013 Report to operations manager or division manager immediately regarding updates of status, problems or accidents.
\n\u2013 Coordinate new shipments with shippers, operations, trucker and carriers on behalf of the customers.
\n\u2013 Ensure continuous and satisfied communication with all other offices, domestic and international.
\n\u2013 Create standard procedure for new business and train office staff.
\n\u2013 Assist other office and warehouse staff with duties as directed.
\n\u2013 Assist with training of new employees
\n\u2013 Respond to new business inquiries whenever requested by management: create quotations and present required supportive references.
\n\u2013 Deal irregular arrangements and project inquiries with customers assigned by the management.
\n\u2013 Participate and contributes to any internal projects as required by the management.
\n\u2013 Perform any other duties as required by the management.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements:
\n\u2013 Fluent in Japanese and English in Speaking, Listening, Writing, and Reading
\n\u2013 Must have an Associate\u2019s or higher degree (Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business related major is preferred)
\n\u2013 Experience in Import\/Export operation is a great plus (Freight Forwarding is preferred)
\n\u2013 Must be able to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in Advanced Level
