A Japanese owned Global IT solution company is currently looking for a Tier 2 IT Engineer to join our Network & Server Solutions Department near Dallas. <\/p>\n
Duties: Tier 2 IT engineer(network & server solution)<\/p>\n
– Provide information and support to users via phone, e-mail, and on-site consultation
\n – Support multiple customers\u2019 Network\/Server operation, troubleshooting and maintenance
\n – Research and resolve complaints to ensure customer retention and satisfaction
\n– Resolve critical issues and provide after-hours support as needed (a few times per month)
\n– Manage some project work such as server network set-up and upgrade (25%) <\/p>\n
For strong candidate: Tier 2 IT engineer(network & server solution)<\/p>\n
– Strong communication skills in English and customer oriented mindset that requires supporting C-level executives. (Japanese skill is preferred, but not required)
\n– Ability to manage small to mid-sized projects independently
\n– Strong analytical skills with regard to requirements analysis and troubleshooting Skills & <\/p>\n
Requirement: Tier 2 IT engineer(network & server solution)<\/p>\n
– Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science or related field
\n– Minimum 3-5 years of technical support experience for small to mid-sized companies\u2019 IT infrastructures
\n– Vast knowledge and experience in server and network.
\n– Minimum 3 years of experience in Server implementation, administration and support (MS Active Directory, MS Exchange)
\n– Minimum 3 years of experience in Network & Security implementation, administration and support (CISCO, Juniper)
\n– Experiences in backup software (CA ARCserve, Symantec Backup Exec), IT management\/monitoring software (Solarwinds, Zoho), AntiVirus software (MacAfee, Symantec), VMWare and Citrix are a plus
\n– Experiences in cloud services (MS Office365, Symantec.cloud) are a plus
\n– CISCO, VMWare and Microsoft server related certifications are a plus
\n– Japanese speaking preferred, Spanish preferred <\/p>\n
Salary $60,000 \/ year (DOE up to $70000)<\/p>\n
